Terms and Conditions – Tunisia Cars
These terms and conditions govern all vehicle rentals made with Tunisia Cars. Any reservation implies full acceptance of the clauses outlined below.
Article 1 – Reservation
Reservations can be made:
- Online through our official website
- By phone
- Via WhatsApp
Required information includes:
full contact details, rental dates, pickup location, selected vehicle category, and flight number if applicable.
All reservations are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by Tunisia Cars.
Article 2 – Eligibility requirements
Minimum Age
The main driver must be at least 26 years old.
Driving License
The driver must hold a valid driving license for at least 3 years.
Any additional driver must meet the same age and license requirements.
Required Documents
- Valid ID card or passport
- Original driving license
- Valid payment method
Article 3 – Rates and payment
Rental rates are calculated based on:
- Rental duration
- Vehicle category
Prices include basic third-party liability insurance.
Additional insurance options may be available at an extra cost.
Payment may be made:
- Online
- By credit card
- Upon vehicle delivery
Late return of the vehicle may result in additional charges.
Article 4 – Rental duration and extension
The minimum rental period is generally 48 hours.
Any extension request must be made before the end of the rental agreement and remains subject to availability.
Additional fees may apply.
Article 5 – Insurance
All vehicles are insured at minimum with third-party liability coverage in accordance with Tunisian legislation.
In case of a non-fault accident
The client must complete an accident report and immediately inform Tunisia Cars and the relevant authorities if required.
In case of a fault accident
The client remains financially responsible for damages according to the deductible conditions specified in the rental agreement.
Article 6 – Vehicle use
The vehicle must be used in compliance with Tunisian traffic laws.
It is strictly prohibited to:
- Smoke inside the vehicle
- Transport animals without prior authorization
- Use the vehicle for illegal purposes
- Participate in racing or competitions
Violation of these rules may result in penalties.
Article 7 – Renter’s responsibility
The renter agrees to:
- Respect Tunisian traffic regulations
- Drive responsibly and prudently
- Return the vehicle clean and with the same fuel level
All fines and traffic violations remain the responsibility of the driver.
Article 8 – Responsibilities of Tunisia Cars
Tunisia Cars commits to:
- Providing a vehicle in proper working condition
- Performing regular fleet maintenance
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Offering commercial assistance 7 days a week
All vehicles are subject to routine technical inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
Article 9 – Vehicle return
The vehicle must be returned:
- On the agreed date and time
- At the agreed location
- In a condition consistent with its delivery state
Additional fees may apply in case of delay or damage.
